Why SEO is Important for Businesses
Having a website for your business is a great first step and one you should be proud of! However, have you ever gone to Google and typed in your industry to see how many results there are?
For example, I searched Google for “woman online coaches,” and there were about 1,210,000,000 results! The next question is, where does your business rank among those results? It’s impossible to reach the top of the results if you don’t have an SEO strategy for your website.
Search engines don’t automatically believe you’re creditable when you launch your website.
Therefore, SEO is vital for the success of businesses that want to rank higher than competitors.
When your site goes live, you can audit it to determine what score you receive. The better the score, the better chances you have to rank higher.
What does this score have to do with SEO?
SEO stands for “Search Engine Optimization,” and it’s essential to increase your website’s visibility and search rankings. You can increase your score by optimizing your website for search results, tracking your SEO metrics, and continuing to improve it.
Audit your site so you know where to start and what needs improving before you begin optimizing your site. A website audit will reveal your current score, organic keywords, broken pages, errors, desktop and mobile speeds, etc. It gives you a starting point for improving your site, and you can use it as a guide for your strategy!
